Kaitlyn received her Master’s of Physiotherapy from McGill University in 2013 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario.
It was during her time at UWO, where she was the athletic trainer for the Women’s Field Hockey team, that she developed her passion for helping people and knew physiotherapy was the right career for her. Before being accepted to McGill, Kaitlyn had the goal of becoming a physiotherapist by the time the 2015 PanAm games came to Toronto. It was a dream come true when she was picked to be a part of the Indoor Volleyball Medical Team and watched the Canadian Men win bronze.
Kaitlyn’s treatments have a strong focus on active therapy including the extensive use of acupuncture. Kaitlyn is so passionate about the positive effects of acupuncture that she is a Clinical Instructor with the McMaster University Contemporary Acupuncture program. Completing her advanced needling through the McMaster University
Neurofunctional Sports Performance Practitioner certificate she has a unique functional approach to assessing and treating sports injuries and complex musculoskeletal conditions.
Kaitlyn also has advanced concussion and vestibular training. Having completed the Shift Concussion Management level 2 courses, her treatment approach includes a detailed assessment, vestibular-ocular exercises, autonomic rehabilitation and a guided return to play/school/work plan. Kaitlyn’s Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation training is a great compliment for her concussion management.
Most recently Kaitlyn has completed the Titleist Performance Institute Level 2 Body-Swing Connection course. As a golfer herself, she is excited to implement her knowledge in addressing some of the key areas of restrictions that may be impacting her patients’ swing.
When not at work, Kaitlyn can be found on the golf course, working out at CrossFit or enjoying the beautiful Niagara area with her friends and growing family.

She specializes in a holistic approach to care, starting with the identification of the cause of dysfunction. From there she uses appropriate referrals or takes the necessary steps to begin treatment with hands on therapy to reduce chronic pain and inflammation, increase mobility, and improve posture and body mechanics by treating the body as a whole.

A sport injury early in life lead Dr. Tom towards a love of rehabilitation. Rehabbing a torn ACL at such an impressionable age built a deep rooted appreciation for the effort and commitment required of his patients to overcome. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from Brock University in 2010, Dr. Tom sought to further his education at D’Youville College where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic (D.C) in 2015. Kristina is a Registered physiotherapist who believes in incorporating musculoskeletal assessments with a neurofunctional approach in the development of treatments as well as providing a holistic and well-rounded approach to wellness and well being. She attended Liberty University on a scholarship for Division 1 Softball, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Kinesiology. Additionally, she completed her Master’s Degree of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2012. To date she has completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Course, Therapeutic Taping, Skills in Hands Functional Assessment Course and Spinal Manipulation Therapy Level 1.
